It just got dark


So dark in fact that the streetlights went on. Which wouldn't be a problem normally, except that it's 11:30 am. In the summer.

The satellite is having problems too. CNN is in nad out.

I think we are in for a hell of a storm.

Storm update: indeed, it was an awful storm-- so much so that the window in the kitchen started to leak again, and torrents of water rushed past our house, narrowly averting a great flood disaster of 2008. Now, everything is beautiful and hunky-dory again.
